When it comes to recent Disney musicals, star-crossed lovers have been the most common theme. As cult classics, both “Descendents” and “High School Musical” have a lot in common in terms of central themes. Disney’s 2018 hit ‘Zombies’ is no different.
Additionally, the studio has discovered ways to address pressing issues via the lens of love and, well, catchy tunes.
Because of this, “Zombies” was a massive success. “Zombies” premiered to an audience of over 10.3 million viewers in just three days, becoming the studio’s most-watched film since “Descendants 2.”
Zombies is a commentary on discrimination and equality, which distinguishes it unique from past Disney films, in addition to its imaginative approach to the undead. According to Addison in one scene, “the conclusion is all about inclusivity and fighting against intolerance.”
It wasn’t long after the success of the original film that the sequel was produced. Zed and Addison’s “Someday” has come to fruition, at least in the form of concrete events. The only difference this time is that they’ll be confronted with something even more mysterious and threatening. We’re coming for you, werewolves.
In ‘Zombies 2,’ the themes of identity, discrimination, and tolerance continue to be prominent. This is all the more intriguing given Zed’s previous experiences with newcomers.
We’re all wondering now that ‘Zombies 2’ has arrived if there will be any further installments. Do you think there will be a ‘Zombies 3’ released? It’s the only information we have at this time.
Potential Zombies 3 Release Date
It’s unclear when Zombies 3 will be released, but work will begin in Toronto this spring.
According to our calculations, the third film in the series will air on Disney Channel in the UK and the US in February 2022. That the previous two films were released on Valentine’s Day, in 2018 and 2020, is no accident
For the time being, that’s only a hunch, but we’ll let you know if we get any confirmation.
The Plot of Zombies 3
‘Zombies’ and ‘Zombies 2,’ on the other hand, have an underlying concept of openness and tolerance. Despite their attempts to blend in, zombies in the first film aren’t monsters, as Zed points out.
It shows a world where humans and zombies coexist. However, just as things begin to change, the Forbidden Forest werewolves appear in Seabrook to look for their moonstone. The werewolves, of course, are a little unnerving.
The sequel will be complicated by Zed’s anti-werewolf views. In this case study, the intersectional theory and how people who are victims of prejudices frequently have their own biases towards other groups or communities are examined. ‘Zombies 2’ explores topics of maturation and growth as well as how to deal with new situations.
And while Zed battles his fears and prejudices, Addison is slowly finding her place in the world as her fate intertwines with the werewolves. The fresh group of people is once again welcomed by Addison, who is the first to accept them.
Zombies 2: Resurrection begins with Addison’s hair glowing at the end. Zombies 3’s meteor strike on Seabrook hints that extraterrestrial life may have colonized the area. To put it another way, either the Great Alpha or Addison realizes her identity as a werewolf.
According to the film, Addison is an outcast who struggles to fit in with her family. There is a good chance the third segment will focus on Addison’s personal development because her hair is now sparkling. It’s long overdue.
The Cast of Zombies 3
Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly are the only people confirmed to play Zed in the upcoming film.
The likes of Trevor Tordjman and Chandler Kinney would also be expected to appear.
Waiting is all we can do for now. When filming begins, we’ll know more about who’s coming back for the final leg of the tour.
