What Is the Plot of the Netflix Original Series Bastard: Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy?

If you’ve been keeping up with the new anime that’s been added to Netflix this month, then you’re already aware that the series Bastard!! : Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy is now available to watch online. The release took place today.

The anime, which is adapted from Kazushi Hagiwara’s manga from 1988, is an action-packed fantasy thriller that is full of all the concepts and pictures you’ve ever desired from a title dealing with supernatural elements. Additionally, its voice cast is something to marvel at as well, seeing as how it boasts some of the most well-known names in the anime community as some of the cast members.

Bastard!! Synopsis: Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy

Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy will take you on an epic journey as you watch a revived wizard from centuries ago seize control of the terrible powers that be in order to save the world. He will face a multitude of challenges, some of which will call for him to concentrate every ounce of his magical strength in order to have even the tiniest possibility of emerging victorious. Nevertheless, once this wizard comes to consciousness, there will be a change in the cosmos. The human race actually has a shot this time.

The Dark Rebel Army, which intends to resurrect the god of destruction Anthrasax, continues to extend its strength in an attempt to control the globe. The Dark Rebel Army is led by the incredibly strong Four Divine Kings, who are responsible for the expansion of the Dark Rebel Army’s power.  Tia Noto Yoko, daughter of the Great Priest, must make a decision in order to save the kingdom.

She must choose whether or not to resurrect the ancient great wizard who once plotted to rule the world and who is currently sealed within her childhood friend Lucien Renren. If she chooses to do so, she will be able to save the kingdom. The only thing that can break the seal is a kiss from a young woman who has not yet given birth. In the face of impending peril, Yoko presses her lips to Lucien’s, and in that precise instant, a dark and potent force permeates the environment.

Kisho Taniyama, who provides his voice for the character Dark Schneider in Attack on Titan, plays the primary role. Alongside him are Yoko Hikasa, Hiroki Yasumoto, and Tomori Kusunoki, who are responsible for portraying the characters of Arshes Nei, Gara, and Tia Noto Yoko, respectively.

There are thirteen episodes planned for the anime, and each one will run for less than half an hour. Because the series has a TV-MA rating, you should restrict viewing to individuals who have reached their majority.
