The July 22 release date of Nope means that moviegoers will be able to watch the horror film in the middle of the summer blockbuster season.

Nope will be available to stream following its run in theatres. It will be available on Peacock 45 days after its theatrical premiere on July 22 as a Universal Pictures film.

Jordan Peele's previous films, Get Out and Us, have no direct sequels; Nope, does not. Daniel Kaluuya, the British actor who starred in getting Out and Nope, is likely to be the source of the mistake.
