It’s Not Clear How Much Money Tiktak Users Can Get From the Settlement
U.S. citizens who used TikTok before September 30, 2021, maybe eligible for reimbursement under the terms of a settlement negotiated between the plaintiffs and the defendants.
If the settlement is accepted, claimants might get $92,000,000 in compensation. An individual US taxpayer would receive about 70 cents if all 130 million people who file monthly in the country did so.
According to the settlement notice webpage, Illinois users are entitled to six times the amount.
