In the new trailer for “M3GAN,” an AI-powered doll that looks like a child has a taste for killing and blood. The film was made by the well-known horror studio Blumhouse in close cooperation with the master of horror James Wan, who is known for his work on the “Saw,” “Insidious,” and “Conjuring” series.
Allison Williams plays Gemma, a roboticist at a toy company who programs the AI doll in “M3GAN.” Gemma tells the doll to look out for her sad niece Cady, who is played by Violet McGraw and whose parents died in a car accident.

Cady and M3GAN get along well at first, but when Cady is picked on by a mean boy, the doll’s cruel side comes out. M3GAN wants to keep her safe from getting hurt. “It’s Nice to Have a Friend” by Taylor Swift plays in the background.
The AI child’s face is made by Amie Donald, and Jenna Davis gives it a voice. Ronny Chieng, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jen Van Epps, Lori Dungey, and Stephane Garneau-Monten will also be in the movie.
The movie is made by Jason Blum and James Wan, and it was written by Akela Cooper and directed by Gerard Johnstone. At first, the script was based on a story written by Cooper and Wan.
In partnership with Divide/Conquer, Atomic Monster is made by Universal Pictures, Blumhouse, and Divide/Conquer. Williams, Mark Katchur, Ryan Turek, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Adam Hendricks, and Greg Gilreath are in charge of making the movie.
