Kissing Booth fans, be warned: this could be your last opportunity to pucker up. The teen from-stars, com’s Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney, are making us all yearn for a long-lasting summer romance as the third chapter in the wildly popular franchise finally hits Netflix. As far as I know, this is your last chance to get some inspiration from King and his crew. It looks like the road for the Kissing Booth has come to an end.
The Kissing Booth Road Trip and The Beach House spin-offs are based on the book series of the same name by Beth Reekles, but there are only three main installments in the franchise (A Kissing Booth Story). In other words, Netflix is unlikely to greenlight another Kissing Booth movie because the source material has run out. While some fans may wonder if we’ll ever get to see Elle in college, given the way KB3 ends, it’s possible. In the meantime, here’s what we’ve learned so far.

Elordi Appears to Believe He’s Done With the Show
Speaking with Vanity Fair, Euphoria’s star confessed to not knowing about or even wanting to star in a fourth Kissing Booth movie, which has been in development for some time. He told the media outlet, “This is really the last kiss.”
However, There’s Still a Lot of Ground to Cover
Following The Kissing Booth, Elle was accepted into both Berkley and Harvard universities. It’s no surprise that the third film focuses on her choice between colleges and men. Kissing Booth 4 could focus on Elle’s freshman year, and the difficulties of dating while attending college, even though Elordi has quashed rumors of a follow-up.
Asked by Entertainment Tonight, King said, ” “With so much to figure out, Elle ends up giving herself even more work. It’s absurd. In the end, we have no idea what’s going to happen.” “Things change, things happen, and I don’t know where their story will take them,” King said of Elle and Noah’s future.
In Kissing Booth 3, Elle’s almost-love interest Marco Valentin Pea (Taylor Zakhar Perez) makes an appearance. (Spoilers please!) Instead of following Elle’s antics with Noah or Lee, a fourth film could focus on her relationship with Marco.
There Is Always the Possibility of a Sequel
Despite the lack of a fourth Kissing Booth movie, there’s always the possibility of a spin-off or television series. In light of the franchise’s enduring appeal, it’s unlikely that Netflix will refrain from milking the story for all it’s worth. The In-Between, Bullet Train, and the Scott Westerfeld teen series Uglies adaptation are just a few of King’s upcoming projects, but that doesn’t mean another actress couldn’t play the role of a smitten high schooler like Elle. If Reekles keeps writing, there’s always the possibility of a classic reboot in the offing as well.
