Highschool Dxd Season 5: Where to Watch High School Dxd Season 5

Highschool Dxd Season 5

This interesting harem series featuring angels and devils was created by none other than the anime industry. That’s what the anime High School DxD has been doing for a long time. Light novels by author Ichiei Ishibumi and artist Miyama-Zero, first published in 2008, serve as the inspiration for the animation. The first season of the anime series premiered in 2012.

High School DxD revolves around Issei Hyoudou, a second-year high school student who happens to be a bit of a pervert. In his dreams, Hyoduo hopes to become a harem king and rule over a large number of women.

The unfortunate outcome is that the student is killed by his first date, who turns out to be a fallen angel after all. In the end, a devil named Rias Gremory, who also happens to be the prettiest student at Issei’s school, is responsible for resurrecting Issei from the dead. Having resurrected from the dead, Issei now finds himself in the position of underling under Rias.

High School DxD’s four seasons of supernatural adventure/comedy shenanigans, as well as the show’s distinctive characters, have been a hit with the audience. It should come as no surprise that the next installment of the series is in high demand as well. Because of this, it’s a good thing that the fifth season of High School DxD has been announced, as reported by The Cine Talk. Listed below is all we know so far about High School DXD’s fifth season.

Highschool Dxd Season 5 Cast

Despite the fact that the official cast for High School DxD Season 5 has not yet been disclosed, according to The Cinemaholic, it is expected that the cast from the previous season of High School DxD: Hero will return. Yuki Kaji’s Issei Hyoudou, Ayana Taketaksu’s Koneko Toujou, Yoko Hikasa’s Rias Gremory, Shizuka Ito’s Akeno Himejima, and Azumi Asakura’s Asia Argento are among the characters who have their voices recorded for this project.

Season 5 will very certainly feature the return of the same animation studio crew that worked on the previous season. According to ComicBook.com, Studio TNK was responsible for the first three seasons of High School DxD. Season 4 was, on the other hand, handled by the studio Passione, under the guidance of Yoshifumi Sueda. Many fans were taken by surprise by the change in studios and artistic direction, and some were dissatisfied with the abrupt turn.

The decision even prompted some fans to start a petition calling for the series to return to its original format from seasons 1 through 3… However, it’s likely that Passione and Sueda will continue to do the animation for High School DxD Season 5 as well.

Highschool Dxd Season 5 Plot

Season 5 of High School DxD has yet to be given a formal plot outline by the network. It has been reported, though not confirmed by The Cinemaholic, that anime series have generally followed a similar plot path to the light novel series. Season 4 of the light novels, for example, was set between volumes 9 and 10.

As Issei and Sairong battled it out in the previous season, the action picked up speed. Issei also used The Cardinal Crimson Promotion, which is a cool and massive power-up for his Scale Mail that was seen in this episode as well.

Although Issei and Rias eventually enjoyed their first kiss in season 4, the season also provided a bit of much-anticipated romance for viewers. Overall, season 4 had a lot to offer, but it also appeared to be a successful conclusion to the series.

Season 5 is expected to be centered on an adaptation of volumes 11 and 12 of the light novel series, which is currently under development. For Issei, this entails taking tests. Issei will have to deal with the Middle-Class Promotion Test, which is a requirement for promotion to the middle class.

If Issei passes this exam, he will be placed just above low-class in the Devil’s strength ranking system, which is based on the ranking system used to designate a Devil’s strength. But, in addition to the tests, Issei will have to deal with Koneko, who has discovered how close Issei has been with Rias and is not pleased about it.

According to the latest information, there is no set release date for Season 5 of High School DxD. This is sad news for fans of the show. It was previously anticipated that the next season of the anime series will launch in 2020, according to The Cine Talk. As has happened with many prior anime releases, the release of COVID-19 threw a wrench in the works.

According to Otaku Kart, Ichieie Ishibumi, the creator of the original High School DxD light novel series, has confirmed that season 5 of the series is still in the works. He also urged fans to continue to purchase and read more of the light novel series, noting that increased sales of the novel could help to jumpstart the creation of the anime series in the future if it is successful.

If High School DxD Season 5 launches this year, it will most likely air during the fall anime season, possibly as early as October, according to the official website. The next season might begin airing sometime in 2022 if everything goes according to plan.
