At least two social networks, GossipBoy.ca and reddit.com, provided video embeds on May 10, 2010. The following morning, the video was embedded on ryanseacrest.com, which cited BuzzFeed as the source. BuzzFeed is a website that seeks to track and predict new viral internet memes.
TVGuide, The Huffington Post, and Yahoo! Music’s video blog, Video Ga Ga, all published pieces with the video embedded later in the day; TVGuide also reported that a Facebook fan page for Chance had been launched.
