If Vin Diesel has his way, we could see a major character return in Fast & Furious 10’s final chapter of the Fast Saga.
Everything You Need to Know About Fast and Furious 10!
For Dwayne Johnson’s sake, Diesel made a public plea for him to return as Hobbs in November of 2021. Johnson has yet to respond, but we have a sneaking suspicion that it will be a long time before he does (more on that in a bit).
As recently as October 2020, the final two films in the series were confirmed to be directed by Justin Lin.
Fans of the show may be disappointed to learn that the series will conclude in a two-part finale, but as Vin Diesel has said, “Every story deserves its own ending”. What’s going to be the conclusion? No one knows for sure yet.
With filming for both films scheduled to begin in January 2022, here’s all you need to know about Fast & Furious 10.
Fast & Furious 10 will arrive in theatres on April 7, 2023, Universal has announced (barring any delays, of course).
F9 was originally scheduled to open in theatres in April 2019, and the tenth film was set for release on April 2, 2021, but that date had to be rescheduled when F9 was repeatedly postponed until it opened in theatres in June 2021.
Filming on the two-part finale will begin in January 2022, and Tyrese Gibson had previously stated that the two movies will be shot back-to-back, as confirmed by Diesel.
This is a re-posted tweet from the microblogging site Twitter. On their website, you may be able to find the same content in a different format or more information.
Diesel has stated that the reason for the two-part finale is because “there’s so much ground to cover”: “There are so many places and so many locations in the world that we have to visit.”
Fast & Furious 11 hasn’t been released yet, but if they film back-to-back, it could be out in April 2024 – or even earlier? – Hope is all we have.
Who Is Returning to the Fast & Furious 10 Cast?
While Vin Diesel’s character Dom returns, expect to see many familiar faces, especially since Fast & Furious 9 passed without any fatalities, making this the true finale of the series.
Sung Kang’s return as Han expanded the group, and we can expect him to be back along with Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty, Tyrese Gibson’s Roman, Ludacris’ Tej, Jordana Brewster’s Mia, and Nathalie Emmanuel’s Ramsey in the coming episodes.
We assume that’s it for the main cast, but Lucas Black as Sean Boswell, Bow Wow as Twinkie, Jason Tobin as Earl Hu, and Shea Whigham as Agent Stasiak are all likely candidates for small roles and cameos.
Since he helped Han fake his own death, we wouldn’t be surprised if Kurt Russell’s Mr. Nobody is still around to assist Dom and his crew.
There’s a rumor floating around that Mr. Nobody faked Gisele’s death, so could we see Gal Gadot make a cameo in the movie’s two-part conclusion? We’re not ruling anything out after the ninth film went into space.
According to Kang’s response to the rumor that Gisele might be returning, he’s all for it “I believe Gisele’s return is essential… on all levels. That’s what I believe the fans want. That must be accomplished in some way.”
Brian O’Conner will have to make an appearance in the finale, whether it’s in a cameo or a more substantial role. Paul Walker is definitely going to make an appearance, whether it’s in the form of archival footage or CGI trickery.
On the subject of Paul and Brian, Lin said: “Obviously Paul and also Brian is such a huge part, he’s the heart and soul of how we are able to keep going.”
A discussion I’m having with myself as we near the end of our journey is one that I’m doing my best to keep civil. I can tell you that every day I feel like we’re going back and forth on this and that it’s a constant dialogue.”
Brewster has expressed her desire to include Meadow Walker, Paul Walker’s daughter, in the series before it ends. I wonder if Fast & Furious 10 will include something like that?
There’s been speculation that Jason Statham, who played Deckard Shaw in F9, will appear in the two-part finale alongside Helen Mirren, who played his mother Magdalene ‘Queenie’ Shaw.
We speculated that Dwayne Johnson’s return as Luke Hobbs might be possible, given Lin’s statement that Hobbs and Shaw are still “part of this family” and Gibson’s claim that he and Johnson had patched things up.
The Storyline of the Fast and Furious 10
Hiram Garcia, Johnson’s co-producer, claims that Johnson has ruled himself out of a return to the franchise.
“After filming Fast 8, DJ made a clear decision to close the Fast & Furious chapter for all the obvious reasons,” he said. Goodbye to them all was exchanged, and we moved on to other storylines.
When Diesel made a statement about the Fast & Furious feud, Johnson responded by saying that Johnson’s performance was a result of Johnson’s efforts. The actor said he “laughed hard” at the joke.
Johnson’s return remains a goal for Diesel, and in November 2021 he made a public plea to him, asking him to “fulfill your destiny. “A lasting impression is sure to be made. I promised Pablo years ago that I would keep my end of the deal, and I’ve kept my word “he stated.
“When it came to our finals, I vowed that we would achieve and manifest the best Fast ever, which is 10. I’m saying this out of love, but you need to show up. Don’t just sit on your hands. You have a big part to play in this franchise. No one else can play Hobbs.”
We don’t know if Diesel’s post will have any effect on Johnson’s behavior as of yet. Before Fast & Furious 8, they may have had a private conversation, which led to his reappearance in that film.

In the ninth film, Jakob Toretto (John Cena) switched sides and supported Dom, so it’s reasonable to assume that the long-lost Toretto brother will make a cameo in the final film.
However, Charlize Theron’s Cipher is still very much a villain and is still alive, so we expect that we haven’t heard the last of her yet.
Is There Anything We Can Expect From the End of Fast & Furious 10 and 11?
Because Fast & Furious 9 wraps things up so neatly, we can only speculate as to what the two-part conclusion will be about.
Mr. Nobody’s survival and Jakob’s next move are two unanswered questions, but they don’t amount to much of a set-up for the events that are to come in the saga.
The credits sequence shows Han visiting Shaw, who is understandably startled to see him. This is a major tease for the upcoming film. Shaw helped Han keep Project Aries safe inadvertently, so will he let the past go? What if Han makes a triumphant return, prompting Shaw to revert to villainy?

“In my opinion, there are still a number of unanswered questions. Because everyone loves Jason Statham, it’s a sneak peek at what Han Solo and Deckard Shaw are capable of. Why not? We’re grateful to have him as a part of our universe “Digital Spy was told by Kang.
The two-part finale is likely to see Dom and his family face a new mission to save the world, while also dealing with a threat to his own family members.
What about more surprises from the dead, like Dom’s father or Gal Gadot’s character? As far as I know, this universe doesn’t have a laidback finale, but you can probably rule that one out.
It’s possible that we’ll see Queenie kiss, Dom, if Helen Mirren has anything to do with it “OMG, of course, I will! In exchange for talking to me both before and after, because it’s his voice that really appeals to me.”
Fast & Furious 10 Trailer
We may be able to see some behind-the-scenes footage when filming begins in January 2022. A delay until the end of the year is possible if this is the case.
Fast & Furious 10’s first trailer would likely be released around November time if it follows the same release schedule as F9’s first trailer, which was released in January 2020.
