Beats Launch New Buds Seemingly Direct Rivals of Apple Airpods

We’ve seen tons of reviews over the last month since the Beats Studio Buds first appeared in Apple’s beta software update, and it’s finally official today. The Beats Studio Buds are available today in red, white, and black before shipping on June 24 for $ 149.99. Studio Buds are the first Beats headphones to compete with AirPods thanks to the Powerbeats Pro wireless design that fits in your ear without a loop.

In many respects, Studio Buds is competitive with the lower-priced AirPods Pro. Its compact design is slightly lighter than ‌AirPods Pro‌while providing features such as active noise reduction (ANC) and transparency mode. In the past week and a half, I have used a few Studio Buds on “Beats Red” and I am very impressed with their performance, especially considering their price. I am a heavy user of usuarioAirPods Pro‌ for daily use, and Studio Buds are comparable to them in most aspects. If you have used ‌AirPods Pro‌ before, Studio Buds will become familiar immediately, the same-touch pairing and simple button press to switch between standard mode and ANC mode. In this mode, the noise around you will be affected. Active cancellation to provide a more isolated listening environment and transparent mode, in this mode, the sound around you will be actively transmitted through the headset and mixed with your audio. Therefore, even if you wear the headphones firmly on your ears, you can hear what is happening around you.

Studio Buds are the first Beats headphones to truly compete with AirPods, thanks to the Powerbeats Pro wireless design that fits in your ear without an earloop. AirPods Pro uses a power sensor on the bar of each earbud, but the Studio Buds have buttons on the outside of the earbuds. Some common functions are shown: for example, press once to play/pause the beep, answer/end a call, press twice to go to the next track, press three times to go back to the beginning. Current title or title. previous song. The same button controls the voice control mode, with a long press to switch between the three modes. By default, both earbuds have the same controls, but you can customize individual taps and folds for each ear using your device’s Settings app. B. Voice control on one side and Siri activation on the other. However, hands-free activation of Heyhands Siri is supported, so there is no need to press a button to activate Siri.

Beats Studio Buds can provide up to 8 hours of listening time, and the included battery box can be charged two additional times, extending the total battery life to 24 hours. However, this is when ANC and transparent mode are turned off. After turning on either mode, the battery life for each charge will be close to 5 hours, for a total of 15 hours. During my use of Studio Buds, I found that compared to other headphones, its sound quality is very stable, and ANC helps block the noise around you. The ANC and transparency of Studio Buds are not as good as “AirPods Pro”, but in my opinion, the difference is not much.
