At the End of Alicia Keys’ Onstage Performance, Her Son, Eleven, Played the Piano and Stunned the Crowd.

It would appear that Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz’s oldest son together, Egypt Dean, is well on his way to becoming a piano prodigy like his mother. The 11-year-old boy stepped up on stage during Alicia’s concert in Mannheim, Germany, the week prior and told his mother, “I’m going to play some piano.” The young musician played a flawless four-minute set in front of 17,000 spectators without missing a single beat.

According to Blavity, Egypt’s first composition was “il vento d’oro,” which was taken from the soundtrack of the popular Japanese anime Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. “In addition to performing ‘il vento d’oro,’ he also played ‘Merry Go Round of Life’ from Howl’s Moving Castle, an animated fantasy film from Japan that was released in 2004, as well as the opening theme song for Game of Thrones.”

Alicia Keys did not try to conceal the joy she felt for her son and the significant achievement he had recently achieved. The singer who won a Grammy Award shared a video clip of his performance on her Instagram page with the caption, “Egy, we are very proud of you!!

Egypt had been requesting her to perform at each event, but according to Alicia, she was “in mommy bear mode” at the time. This was something that the woman mentioned. She also mentioned Egypt getting on stage, saying in her post, “As if there wasn’t 17,000 people out there and just smashes!! All confidence, all smiles, all natural! Incredible! I can’t believe it!

Under Alicia’s post, a number of famous people, like Jennifer Hudson, Majorie Harvey, and Kate Hudson, commented on how impressed they were by Egypt’s ability.

In addition, Swizz Beatz published a video of his son’s performance on his Instagram page, alongside a number of other films documenting the concert’s opening night.
