It has been two years since Respawn Entertainment’s successful battle royale franchise launched on “Playstation 4” and “Xbox One” and the game is still going strong, offering a unique gaming experience and serving as a direct competitor to Fortnite. Apex Legends Mobile will be released very soon, and the game is aiming to capture the lucrative and massive mobile player base in the process.
After only a month of availability on Nintendo Switch, Apex Legends has already surpassed expectations, and the game’s developers have big plans for the game’s progression in the future. The goal of the game is for players to take on the roles of defined characters, each with their own set of abilities and benefits, with the ultimate goal of being the last person or team standing.
Apex Legends Mobile will be available to download and play for free for the foreseeable future, with in-game purchases only granting access to cosmetic changes. According to Respawn, this is a completely new edition of the game, but it remains “true to the original.”
In the beginning, the game will be available in India and the Philippines, with the goal of gradually expanding its distribution to include the rest of the world in the future.

Is Apex Legends Mobile going to have a cross-platform play?
One question for which we already have a solid response: Apex Legends Mobile will not be cross-compatible with PC or console, which means you will only be able to compete against players who are also playing on their mobile devices.
Developer Respawn says Apex Legends Mobile is specially designed for touchscreen devices, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in the most advanced battle royale combat available on a mobile device. Apex Legends Mobile is available now on iOS and Android devices.
Because of the disparity in power between a phone and a gaming rig/console, most mobile games, with the notable exception of Fortnite, are kept separate from their PC and console counterparts. This is especially true when it comes to a fast-paced game like Apex Legends. There are, however, some disadvantages to using this strategy.
Is it going to be free?
In the same way that the PC and console versions of the game are completely free to play, Apex Legends Mobile is also completely free to play.
There will be paid-for cosmetic items available, as was expected, though Respawn assures players that “paid items that grant a gameplay advantage” will never be included in the game’s release.
The game will also have its own Battle Passes, which will include exclusive collectible cosmetics and unlockable items that will differ from those found in the PC and console versions of the game. Apex Legends Mobile will be available on iOS and Android devices.
Given that the game’s release is still several months away, these plans are subject to change as development progresses and the game is refined. The release of Apex Legends Mobile is rapidly approaching, and we’ll do everything we can to keep you up to date with the latest developments.
