The zombie/horror drama All of Us are Dead, available on Netflix, has quickly become one of the most popular South Korean shows on the service, drawing in viewers from all around the world. The first season, which aired on Netflix on Jan. 28, 2022, had 12 episodes and swiftly rose to the top of the streaming service’s global rankings, with many viewers comparing it to Hwang Dong-Squid hyuk’s Game. Produced by JTBC Studios and Film Monster, the series is based on Joo Dong-webtoon, Geun’s “Now at Our School.”
It’s no secret that South Korean production firms continue to produce outstanding zombie titles like All of Us Are Dead, and while the series garnered mixed reviews, many fans on social media hailed the series for its entertainment qualities.
In the meantime, the show’s fans are asking if Netflix has any plans to extend the show into another season. For those of you who have been eagerly awaiting the second season of All of Us are Dead, here’s all you need to know, including the show’s likely release date, cast, and other information. Please note that this page will be updated as we learn more about the upcoming season.
As of this writing, Netflix has not yet renewed All of Us are Dead for a second season, but considering the show’s increasing popularity, it is quite likely that Netflix will green-light the production of the series. Season 2’s confirmation may also be contingent on how much material from the original webtoon, Now at Our School, can be adapted for the show. There is no more material to work with, therefore a fresh tale will have to be concocted if the show is revived.
Netflix has already stated that Squid Game will return for a second season, so it’s possible that the show was originally intended to run for just one season.
When asked about Season 2, director Lee Jae-kyoo replied that it would be fantastic to continue, but disclosed that there can only be another season if the first season receives enough positive feedback.
The second season of All of Us is Dead will continue the story of the zombie apocalypse.
Hussin, a city under martial law, was bombarded to death in the first season of All of Us Are Dead in an effort to destroy the zombies and prevent the infection from spreading to adjacent cities. In the end, most of the students were able to make it out of the city before the bombs dropped.
Quarantine camps were eventually reached by the students, despite the fact that they lost a few friends along the route and had to struggle through zombie-infested terrain.
Everything You Need to Know!
They had to fight their way to the quarantine camps, losing some friends in the process, but they still made it out of the zombie-infested areas and into the camps.
On-jo, Dae-Su, Su-hyeok, Mi-jin, Ha-ri, and Hyo-rung were reunited four months after spending the entire time in the quarantine facility. They returned to the school’s rooftop after On-jo detected a light there.
Their class president Nam-ra was still a “humble” or half-zombie when they met on the rooftop, and she revealed that there are more “chambers” and she is helping them out because they can’t return to regular human civilization because of the risk of being killed on sight.
Having spent the remainder of her time with her pals, she is forced to return to becoming a recluse once more. A loner before the catastrophe, she’s now compelled to flee with the rest of the survivors as a half-zombie she’s turned into.
Speculation of the second season of All of Us is Dead is hinted at by the end scene of Season 1. There’s something off-camera shocking the young survivors as they get closer to the cliff from which Nam-ra jumped. There is a sense of mystery about what the protagonists observe.
Despite the conclusion of All of Us Dead Season 1, a possible second season might investigate the lives of Nam-ra and the prospect of the virus spreading again.
Nam-ra may be the center of Season 2 if All of Us are Dead fresh is given the go-ahead, but the other survivors may also return. If we’re lucky, we’ll see them take on a new assignment at the end of the first season. It’s possible that additional characters will be introduced in the next second season.
The webtoon, on the other hand, concludes with the virus perhaps spreading to Japan, whereas the show closes with Nam-a living in the woods with other half-zombies.
Season 2 may potentially focus on the aftermath of the blast and give us an update on the gang of half-zombie survivors. When Nam-ra talks about A new Korean metropolis is most likely to be the setting for this story. It would be fantastic to see zombies wreaking havoc in Seoul, but filming in the country’s capital would demand a greater budget.
Recently, Oh-character Jo’s was teased by Park Ji-hu, who portrayed her. She told Yonhap News Agency (via Express) that she was speaking to them “On-jo isn’t a fighter, but she’s thoughtful and caring when it comes to her pals. So she runs away all the time “she informed me.
The Cast of All of Us Are Dead Season 2: Who Is Returning and Who Is New?

According to writer plans, it’s feasible Season 1’s whole major cast will be back for Season 2, however new cast members are also possible. Season 2 could see the return of characters such as On-jo (Park Ji-hoo), Su-hyeok (Park Solomon), Dae-Su (I’m Jae-hyuk), Ha-ri (Ha Seung-ri), Mi-jin (Lee Eun-same), and Hyo-rung (Kim Bo-Yoon).
